Update on Flynn (the horse with nine lives):   Flynn has had his operation and is doing very well now, thanks to the kind, compassionate, professional team at the South Wairarapa Veterinary Services.  I am delighted, and very grateful indeed, as are all the local kids (and grown up kids) who love Flynn and his fellow FOCKCer horses, Brutus, Patrick, etc.  They've been mates for many years

Friends of Caring Kiwi Communities (the FOCKCers) own three horses in Carterton, Flynn is the eldest.  He developed a tumour on his sheath a while ago, so of course I contacted the vet, who examined him.  Since arriving in the Wairarapa over eleven years ago I've used the services of South Wairarapa Veterinary Services, and always been impressed by their professionalism.  Peter Morriss examined Flynn.  Peter upholds the impeccably high standards set by the legendary Rodger Gillett, who recently retired.  The vets confirmed that although the growth was unsightly, it wasn't causing him any immediate harm, any apparent pain, or any significant discomfort, and that he was in otherwise tip top condition and had a very good quality of life for the time being.  We were all aware that the growth was growing and that action had to be taken in the fairly near future but there was no need to euthanase the horse.  Peter invited his colleague who also specialises in equine surgery to give a second opinion, and after some deliberation it was decided that it was feasible to attempt to remove the tumour.  Furthermore, the SWVS kindly offered to perform the operation free of charge, in the interests of educating junior veterinarians and gaining experience.

On 22nd November 2012 Jane, Peter and Emily successfully removed the tumour in a challenging two hour operation, with others observing for educational purposes.  

Jane carefully examined him, listening to his heart for a long time, measuring him to estimate his weight in order to calculate the correct dose of the sedative.

It was touch and go a few times, there was a lot of blood, Flynn decided he had to lie down half way through the operation, after all the sedative we had to give him, which wasn't part of the plan (the vets had hoped to perform the operation with him standing up, sedated, using local anaesthetic.  The team moved on to Plan B and just got on with the job.  Blood spurted from all the blood vessels as Peter and Jane worked fast to stitch them all up, with Emily handing them instruments flat out and providing great support.  It was amazing to watch the speed at which they worked, it seemed to take forever.

Flynn stopped breathing a few times, Jane told me to lift up his head, and I give him a jolly good speaking to, telling him to pull up his socks and do his bit and BREATHE.  Finally he'd take a breath again each time, and finally, after what seemed like hours (the whole thing took a couple of hours) the stitching was all finished, and Jane administered the antidote for the sedative as they worked flat out to clean Flynn up and wash and put away all the equipment.  In a little while Flynn woke up, got to his feet, neatly avoiding the big mass of clotted blood on the ground, and started eating the grass as if nothing had happened.  I felt like all my Christmases had come at once.

Flynn and his two fellow Community Garden horses provide a great service to the community, providing riding for the disabled, the bullied, the abused kids, the ones with funny lumps growing out of them, and big scars (some you can see and some you can't), and all the other kids round here who think hanging out with horses is a better idea than going off and committing suicide or something.

Spending time with horses builds confidence, empathy, respect, relationship skills, communication skills, it's a great thing, and Flynn, Brutus and Patrick benefit the kids round here more than they benefit me.  We'd like to establish a fund to enable the SWVS to do other operations for animals in the community like this.  The SWVS do other work they're not paid for too, such as when people bring them animals who have been hit by a car and the owner can't be found, people who can't afford to put their pets down but don't want them to suffer, and other things to help people and animals in the community.

Please support the work of the South Wairarapa Veterinary Services, they do a lot of work in the community for which they don't receive payment, and the fact that they offered to do this operation for Flynn free of charge says a great deal about their commitment to the community, their high ethical and professional standards, and the character and calibre of the vets who work for their practise.  They have looked after Flynn and his mates for over twelve years, and they've always provided absolutely top quality professional services to us, and to everyone we know.

It's good for kids to learn that just because you're old and you've got a lump doesn't mean you should automatically be thrown on the scrap heap.  Flynn's always loved taking little kids for rides, he's made it his mission in life and his specialty.  I told him years ago that if he looked after the kids, I'd always look after him.  And he always has, and it's just wonderful that Peter and Jane offered to operate on him so he can carry on his good work, showing kids how to have fun, make friends, learn to trust, build confidence, etc.

People who care about animal welfare should consider making a donation to the SWVS to enable them to set up a little fund to perform other procedures on animals in need, for the benefit of the vulnerable in the community (like a lot of the people who enjoy spending time with Flynn), for educational purposes, humane purposes, etc.  This is a really good way to provide direct assistance to animals in need, and recognise all the work that these veterinarians do in our community that people don't always know about.

Carterton Events Centre - More of the Whorehouse Mentality:

Here it is, in all it's tawdry glory, the premier production of the "Limelight Theatre Company, which took over all the remaining assets of the former Phoenix Theatre, as well as getting a mysterious grant of "several thousand dollars" which has suddenly come to light after local lawyer and thespian Peter Totman suddenly remembered it's existence twenty years later - yeah, right!  The first production in the famous Carterton Events Centre that nobody in Carterton wanted, the one we were promised was going to be for everyone, family friendly, etc.  Real family entertainment alright, all the kids are asking mummy, what's a whorehouse?  Is the best we can do?  R 16

More of the same old fraud from the same old people.  Once upon a time Carterton had a Community Resource Centre, running about ten community organisations including the Community Gardens, Supergrans, First Steps, programs to assist less able members (called 'disabled' by other people) to find employment, etc. It was taken over when the people named below and others took over the Centre illegally by punching the Secretary and Finance Officer in the face and changing the locks to cover up the fraud and misfeasance described by these lawyers.

This money should have gone to the Phoenix Theatre, the people's theatre, but of course they were never told about it, were they?  Peter Totman knew perfectly well about the Phoenix Theatre for years but obviously chose to keep this money a big secret from them.  Now suddenly he produces it like a rabbit from a hat to give to this bunch of vulgar self important show offs to ponce about putting on their "performance" of "The Best Little Whorehouse In Carterton" or whatever it is.  Here's what the article in the local rag says:
"It was the case of the reappearing money for a Wairarapa drama society on Wednesday, as thousands of dollars gets set to boost theatre productions 20 years after it was squirrelled away.

At Wednesday's Carterton District Council meeting councillors were told $7000 had been held by the council since 1989, the date when the former Carterton Amateur Dramatic Society went into recess.

Council chief executive Colin Wright noted in a report it looked like that money was held on the condition it one day be given to another such group.

"Inquiries indicate that the intention was for these funds to be utilised by a similar amateur group in the future," Mr Wright said.

"The Limelight Theatre Group [formerly Phoenix] have now requested these funds in accordance with the original intention as they have little in the way of financial resources for producing their proposed show during November in the Events Centre or any future events."

A letter from Peter Totman, last president and honorary solicitor of CADS, confirmed the two-decades-old decision.

"It was resolved that the funds of the society be transferred to Carterton District Council to be, in due course, transferred to a society within the Carterton district with similar objectives as CADS.

"I subsequently arranged for the funds to be deposited accordingly."

On Wednesday that appeared to be the case, but no evidence had come to light.

"Unfortunately we can't find any correspondence and there's no minutes of it," Mr Wright said.

"But we definitely are holding what amounts to several thousand dollars of funds, and that includes about 20 years of accumulated interest."

The council were due to discuss releasing the money to Limelight at the meeting." 


The Limelight Theatre is the vehicle for show offs like the lawyers and their mates, Mark Hinton, Caroline Wait, John Greenwood, Kate Nolan, members of the Carterton District Council like Barbara Durbin, Elaine Brazendale, Ruth Carter, Jill Greathead, Ewen Hyde, etc - who were all on the committee of the former Carterton Community Centre when it was illegally taken over and closed down to cover up the fraud and gross mismanagement.  These are the people who thought it was such a good idea to hire unemployed transvestite prostitute Georgina Beyer (known locally as Beyer the Liar) to teach the youth of the town "Life Skills" - at the tax payers expense of course, it wasn't coming out of their pockets, it's YOUR money they're throwing down the drain with this sort of carry on while crime, child abuse and suicide skyrocket out of control in the Wairarapa under the governance of these corrupt and stupid idiots.  I use the term "stupid idiots" because the report of the Auditor General published on this site (highlights are at this link, scroll down to paragraph ninety something, 91 or 92 I think) makes it absolutely crystal clear that this is exactly what they are.  Mark Hinton wrote the letter to police accusing me of the theft of the community centre's financial records.  I've posted them on the internet to show why there has never been an audit, because Councillor Jill Greathead was told by RG Thompson that it would be a huge fail and the allegations of fraud were try, go Greathead closed the audit down!

What's also crystal clear is that there have been two substantial community petitions against this Event Centre, and that it is unwanted by the vast majority of people in the community and certainly all the well informed ones (apart from the corrupt well informed ones who were involved in the fraud and misfeasance), and that the Carterton Events Centre is an obscene insult to the real people of Carterton, and all the people who signed the petition calling for an audit of the former Community Centre, the Event Centre - including the so called "Facility Focus Group" and the involvement of the Carterton District Council and people associated with it.  This isn't our Community Centre, it's their "Event Centre".  Reminds me a bit of that comedian, who was had up for molesting his 4 year old daughter, got off with no conviction and name suppression (- I get more than that for not wearing my bike helmet!).  Judge Phillipa Cunningham said he deserved to get off because he was so funny and we all needed to have a good laugh [at this sort of thing?] adn the poor man wouldn't be able to get a job if he was punished in any way.  Maybe he should stop trying to be a comedian and get a real job.

We had a proper community resource centre, the real Heart of Carterton, with Community Gardens, a Health Centre, a Borough Farm, now we've got an 'Event Centre' run by the same thieves and liars who are responsible for the fraud and misfeasance at the former Carterton Community Centre, and the theft of all the assets and funds of that organisation, and the very first thing they do is put a big performance of this just to remind everyone of Cartertons's Whorehouse image - good one Ron Mark and the Carterton District Council, lawyers John Greenwood, Carolyn Wait, lawyers 'assistant' Kate Nolan, Councillors Brazendale, Carter, Greathead, librarian Hyde - for dragging the town into the gutter yet again.

Here's more about  how your taxes and rates are spent.  As you can see, Friends of the Gardens received the grand sum of $250 - conditionally - while Sean Crawford, son of John Crawford, leader of the gang of bullies and idiots who took over the former Community Centre for this very reason - so daddy could keep funnelling our hard earned money into little Sean's pocket, and the pockets of their mates.

Having spent $36 just on train fares yesterday to get to Wellington for the hearing of the corruptly laid charges (23.11.10), I went to the eftpos machine today at about 11:30 a.m. to withdraw some money and noted that the balance of my bank account was not what it should have been, so immediately rang my bank. They were able to tell me that a transaction withdrawing $60 had occured at local Mobil service station Smith Hare and Christianson at 8:49 a.m. this morning using my Eptpos card. I told the bank that I hadn't been anywhere near Smith Hare and Christianson for weeks, and that there was no chance whatsoever that my card had been used there at that time because it had definitely been in my possession elsewhere.

I immediately went to Smith Hare and Christianson and asked to see the manager, told him what the bank had told me, and requested the CCTV camera footage for the time the transaction was carried out, only three hours previously. He told me he wasn't going to give it to me, or show it to anyone. I asked for a pen and paper to write the request on, and a phone to call police, he told me he was going to ring the police himself and have me charged with trespass, just like he did when I requested the footage of Gary McPhee assaulting me at Smith Hare and Christianson on another occasion.

Then I remembered the incident that occured a week or two ago when I went to Smith Hare and Christison and used my eftpos card. There were two young males in Mobil uniforms behind the counter, Bob the Mobil man and another one, and when I asked if I could get cash with my Cashpoint card, they looked slyly at each other, took my card out of my hand, then told me that the eftpos machine wasn't working, and then produced one of those old credit card machines which you put the card in. Then put the paper receipt on top of it and then slid the thing across the paper which imprints the card details onto the paper. I smelled a rat at the time, as I watched the staff members smirking at each other, but needed cash urgently to catch a train. As I thought about that incident I realised that the theft of the card details had occured during that transaction, and that a staff member had committed the theft by using those details at 8:49 this morning.

When I put this to the manager, he and the other staff laughed at me, ordered me to leave, and abused me. As I watched them closely, I realised that this has been going on there for a long time, there's certainly no shortage of naive and gullible people in the Wairarapa, and it was clearly obvious that the management and staff at Smith Hare and Christianson are all in this together. This became even more obvious when I asked for a pen and paper to make the request for the CCTV footage, and a formal complaint, in writing, and a phone to call the police, and the manager refused to provide either, and made it crystal clear with his mocking, laughing, arrogant and aggressive attitude that they all thought it was a real joke. They laughed even harder when I said I was going to report it to the local police, everyone knows how corrupt they are, and I bet they've been turning a blind eye to this particular little scam for years. I was then threatened and assaulted by the duty manager "Blaine" (according to his badge) and the junior staff.

This is the thief, his name's Bobby apparently, look at the smart alec, posing for the camera, when I went back to get a snap of him. He's a disgrace to his family, a disgrace to Mobil NZ and a disgrace to the Wairarapa and Carterton in particular. I intend to repost this every time I see him on duty at Smith Hare and Christison, until my $60 is returned and he is sacked or charged with theft (preferably both), he has a history of this apparently, and a real attitude, which is obvious from the photo.

On the way to report the matter to the police, a woman in a big silver four wheel drive RV opened her car door without looking on the main street, causing me to fall off my bike and graze my knee and hands as I had to swerve to avoid hitting the door. Then the stupid woman denied it. I was wearing a bright red t shirt and wasn't hard to spot, I was watching her intently at the time, as I watch all parked cars for this very reason, and I saw her head clearly and she did NOT look, which is the reason I had time to swerve, because I knew she was going to do it, and tried to brake and avoid it. The average driver pulls into the kerb, glances in the mirror as they undo their seat belt and then swings the door wide open without another thought. I heard some bystander say "where's your bike helmet" - I hear it every day as I ride round Carterton from all the pathetic small minded idiot people who feel moved to shout it out at me ad infinitum. The same people who swing their car doors wide open without a second thought, on a daily basis. Like I've said before, when motorcyclists have to wear high visibility vests I might wear a cycle helmet. I have a doctors letter explaining why I should be exempted. High visibility vests actually PREVENT accidents, whereas a cycle helmet is NO USE WHATSOEVER until AFTER an accident has occurred. Simple common sense. Funny how the gutless wonders of the Wairarapa like to shout abuse at me regarding whether or not I wear a helmet on my push bike, but are too cowardly to say anything about big fat Gary McPhee smashing down the door of innocent people and smashing them over the head with a weapon. Says everything about the cowardly, ignorant, thieving bullies who inhabit the Wairarapa.

When I confronted 'Blaine' and 'Bobby', their reaction made it obvious that they do this regularly. They laughed when I asked for a phone to call police, abusing and threatening me, 'Bobby' went outside and started wheeling my bike up the road, and Blaine called the police and told them I was trespassing. Local corrupt police refused to take my complaint and threatened to arrest me for trespass.

The matter is still under investigation. In the mean time, I'd go to another garage, or if you must go to Smith Hare and Christison Mobil "service" station in Carterton, make sure this little thief doesn't "serve " you.

"Ron Mark's Offers Just Don't Stack Up" - it's Official:

The cheek of Ron Mark.  He whines that there's been a distinct lack of investment in Carterton, and also notes that the previous Council, under drunken lunatic Gary McPhee, was also turned down, although the Events Centre is already under construction.  There has been huge opposition to the Centre, two substantial community petitions (if not three).

Funders will not invest in this project, and well informed funders have refused to do so since 2002, when the former Carterton Community Centre was taken over illegally by a group of people who are mainly associated with the Carterton District Council, a major funder of the Centre.

Trust House CEO Bernard Teahan says that the Carterton District Council has never made any credible applications for funds: "We have certainly had no suggestions by the (Carterton District) council.  Mr Teahan says that while the Trust will always look at opportunities, there had been several businesses offered to them over the years, but none of them had stacked up, including Mayor McPhee's pub, the Buckhorn.

The so called Event centre doesn't stack up because the same group of people behind the proposal are the ones responsible for the illegal takeover and closure of the former Carterton Community Centre.  The ringleaders of this definitely not bloodless coup were the recently appointed (by Mr Mark, I think) Deputy Mayor Elaine Brazendale, Councillors Jill Greathead, Ruth Carter, and Council librarian Ewen Hyde, among others associated with the Carterton District Council.

Mr Mark is pretending not to know about any of this.  Of course he's well practised in public deception and manipulation of the media for his own political and personal gain, having fawned at the feet of well known oily, greasy, two faced preening peacock, disgraced former MP Winston Peters.  He's learned how to pose and smile and make pathetic little noises like "I am conducting a rates review", etc, while ignoring the real issues, sweeping them under the carpet, greasing the palms of the local corrupt police officers in order to shut up any opposing view and shut down the dissemination of information, regarding the "Carterton Events Centre", which has been the subject of at least two substantial community petitions against the plan to build it and calling for an inquiry into the involvement of a number of people associated with the Carterton District Council and the Carterton Community Centre and conflicts of interest, fraud, bullying, etc.

These people, Elaine Brazendale, Ruth Carter, Ewen Hyde, Jill Greathead, Julie Hallam, Gary McPhee, Georgina Beyer, and others, took over the Carterton Community Centre illegally, by punching the Secretary and Finance Officer in the face in a vicious assault and then changing the locks.

They then made a formal complaint to police through local law firm Wollerman Cooke and McClure.

This complaint was soundly rejected and dismissed by Senior Sergeant Geoff Reid of the Wairarapa police.  It appears that Snr Sgt Reid was bullied into retiring from the police in disgust at the corruption which is so rife  within the Wairarapa police, shortly after writing the letter advising of this decision.

Police refuse to this day to investigate the allegations of serious misfeasance of people still on Ron Mark's Council, but it's nice to see Mr Teahan isn't fooled by the big smile, and nor is anyone else with even half a functioning brain.

Also of interest is the fact that local propaganda specialist Tanya Katterns has been sacked by the Dominion Post "news" paper for plagiarism, regarding a sickeningly sycophantic "report" she wrote about failed New Zealand First MP Ron Mark, the latest incompetent and corrupt Mayor to be foisted on the poor people of Carterton by corrupt election systems, having suffered through the misguided, destructive madness of unemployed, disgraced, transvestite prostitute Georgina Beyer, Gary McPhee, etc, and now we have to put up with this smarmy grinning gnome.

Wairarapa Police and Court Staff Corrupt and Incompetent:

I was shocked when local police let off Tony Feinson with Diversion after he assaulted me in the office of the Carterton Community Centre (CCC) in 2001, breaking two of my teeth.  Locals soon assured me that this was normal Police practice, to bully and persecute the victims of violence and protect the offenders.

Feinson and a gang of people associated with the Carterton District Council (CDC) illegally took control of the CCC by assaulting me in early April 2001, and changing the locks on the building after complaints were made to the Police regarding the fraud and serious malfeasance at the Carterton Community Centre and the involvement of disgraced former MP, and transvestite prostitute Georgina Beyer the Liar.

I was legally employed at the Centre, as well as holding my Executive positions on the committee.  Corrupt local lawyer Ainslie Hewton took $50 from me, promising to file a claim in the Employment Tribunal, which she then failed to file and failed to refund the $50.  I spent considerable time completing legal aid applications and Employment Tribunal applications.

 LETTER FROM LAWYER IVAN YOUNG GOUGH TO AINSLIE HEWTON  28 MAY 2001 

Dear Kamil,

As discussed with Kate and yourself I said I would get back to you with my view of the issues arising from her relationship with the Carterton Community Centre (CCC).

I note that Kate already has a personal grievance underway with Gawith and Co, arising from a previous employment relationship.  I do not believe it would be helpful for her cases by having three lawyers working for her.  I also hold the view that the personal grievance arising from her employment at the CCC is too closely associated with the other issues that arise and that the wisest course is to confine the matters to one lawyer.  

The issues as I see them are as follows:

1. personal grievance for unjustifiable disadvantage before her dismissal (or lock out);
2. personal grievance for unjustifiable dismissal (good arguments on substantive and procedural grounds;
3. arising from the above there seems to be holiday pay owing (I am not sure what notice provisions there were, if any;
4. a second complaint to the Police arising from an alleged assault the day before the one that went to Court;
5. A complaint to the Police concerning the granting of diversion for an assault causing actual bodily harm (broken teeth) and the manner in which that outcome was arrived at by the Police;
6. A claim for ACC cover and entitlements;
7. A civil claim for restitution/reparation for the costs of treatment and associated matters arising from both assaults;
8. Civil action against the person who assaulted Kate if this is possible; 
9. and civil action against the CCC and the individual members if they nave acted ultra vires (which seems to be the case)

From past experience I doubt if the CCC itself has much in the way of assets.  I doubt whether most of the individuals concerned have much either.

I would be happy to assist, advise or provide whatever I can to progress Kate’s claims.  I believe there needs to be a pragmatic approach, and that any proceedings unlikely to succeed or achieve much for the effort expended should be ditched.  The rest needs to be prioritised and set down in some sort of plan/strategy.

Finally, Kate has asked me about a Notice of Costs the CCC paid to me sometime last year.  As she is no longer employed in the position she held I cannot assist.  This could possibly be obtained by disclosure.

"Acting ultra vires" means acting with no lawful authority.

Ainslie Hewton took $50 off me, telling me it was a mandatory initial contribution toward legal aid, then Hewton refused to do any work on the matter whatsoever, refused to submit the legal aid application which I had completed and handed to her along with the $50, and refused to refund the $50.

When an application was made to the High Court to wind up the Carterton Community Centre, by John Crawford and his SEVEN friends (Elaine Brazendale, twice bankrupted Frank and Maureen Craig, Evelyn Dearnley (who wouldn't know what day of the week it is, and took me to Court unsuccessfully for calling her a hypocrite, poor woman), Julie Hallam, Ewen Hyde, and Jill Greathead,) members of Friends of the Carterton Community centre put up notices advertising a public meeting to discuss the illegal takeover mismanagement and closure of the former Carterton Community Centre and the involvement of a group associated with the Carterton District Council, a major funder of the Centre, in the fraud and misfeasance at the centre, which had been confirmed by several lawyers, including Ivan Young-Gough, Kamil Lakshman, Michael Appleby and others.

I was charged with Billsticking.  Following my acquittal, after the police failed to turn up to Court, like they did on 8th December 2009, and again on 7th April 2008 in the Decision of Judge Butler.

This letter to the police from lawyer Ken Daniels in 2004 clearly details one instance of the frauds complained of by members of the Carterton Community Centre.

Funds granted for specific projects,  to several community organisations, was indisputably stolen from several different bank accounts of unrelated organisations, and given to an individual against legal advice.

Evidence can be viewed of the Minutes of the Community Centre committee at which the decision was made here and the financial records of the organisations under the control of the committee of the Community Centre there and everywhere on this site, with more going up daily.  Ken Daniels had to be asked repeatedly to write this letter, following my acquittal on the Billsticking charge, and the pathetic "apology" from the police regarding that matter, and repeated harassment from Constables Wakefield, Cunningham and Pope, refusal of police sergeant Glenn Taplin to charge Rachel Betteridge and her husband with sending me extremely threatening and offensive text messages, etc.

The second page of this letter has just disappeared (along with 3/4 of this posting,) but we'll move on and come back to this letter later.  The letter was completely and utterly ignored by police.

  

On the left is the boastful confession published by the local propaganda distributor the Wairarapa Times-Age, (25 May 2005) complete with the photo of the big oaf in his Sunday best suit with the Mayoral chain - to give the story extra credibility for the many gullible people who accepted this rubbish as an excuse for McPhee's drunken criminal violence, instead of the usual photos of him with his silly little baseball cap on backwards astride his Harley Davidson.

EXCLUSIVE - McPHEE:
WHY I DID WHAT I DID:   Screamed the headlines, and all the posters outside the retail outlets.  McPhee's mates in the police and the Wairarapa Times-Age made up rumours that the victims of the attack had "asked for it" because they were criminals and "trouble makers" -according to drunken violent criminal McPhee!  McPhee and his drunken mate were the criminals, police and local journalists corruptly perverted the course of justice to prevent McPhee being charged!

Contrast that with the posters outside all retail outlets in the electorate two weeks before voting day saying "Mayoral candidate in Court appearance" referring to a corruptly laid charge against me which was promptly dismissed or withdrawn - like so many others!  - Not to mention the other slanderous "reports" of alleged "disorderly behaviour" - NONE of which have been upheld by the Courts and which have also been discredited by WITNESS STATEMENTS - from people who have actually been present - unlike the 'reporters' on many occasions!

Below, left, is a letter faxed to police by Ken Daniels in 2006, refering to  "a total lack of action" regarding numerous complaints, including the ones about corrupt local Mayor McPhee's drunken home invasion, and the ones in the previous letter in 2004 at the top of the page.

And next to that is the unbelievably rude, arrogant, dismissive, unprofessional, damningly corrupt email from Sgt Murray Johnston, who knows perfectly well that there were several complaints about McPhee's drunken attack (with his drunken mate).  Nearly as corrupt as this rubbish from the corrupt Area Commander John Johnston, recently exposed for his corruption and incompetence regarding the systemic failure of child abuse investigations in the Wairarapa - he squanders the resources he gets, and this site is exposing more of it every day:                                                                                                                                               

This is supposed to be an apology to me from the police after they failed to turn up to Court after wasting so much time and money prosecuting me for Billsticking for putting up notices calling for a public meeting to discuss the illegal takeover, mismanagement and closure of the Carterton Community Centre, and gross misfeasance regarding the affairs of the Centre by a group of people mainly associated with the Carterton District Council.

It refers to "police action or inaction" - ? and "procedural disputes within the Masterton Police at present." 

The letter is supposed to be an apology, but as readers can see it is a rude and sarcastic insult, not an apology, written by a man who was once a good police officer, but who has now been corrupted to write this rubbish.

This letter to Ken Daniels is evidence of how the Wairarapa police deal with formal complaints from lawyers, they just ignore them.

Police are supposed to forward formal complaints to the PCA, but in the Wairarapa they do things their own way and simply don't bother when it doesn't suit them.  Even when they are forwarded, the PCA just give the complaints to the police themselves, the subjects of the complaints, to investigate. ad infinitum, at the tax payer's expense, providing employment to people like Tara Sewell of the police, who continues to claim that the file regarding the investigation into the many allegations about the Carterton Community Centre does not exist.

The excuse given for police wasting so much of everyone's time and money is:  "As I've said in the letter, this is part of an ongoing difference of expectations between the Prosecutor and other staff.  The Area Commander is looking into it and I hope a solution will be found quickly."

Well a solution hasn't been found.  The NZ police - and the Wairarapa police in particular - are as corrupt and incompetent as ever, and the (I)PCA is as useless and corrupt as ever - Prosecutors are throwing more money at the corrupt charges before the Court regarding the South End School and Michael Murphy.

I wrote back to the PCA to say that Ken Daniels agreed with me that the letter was rude and sarcastic and was not an apology at all, and that there were far more serious allegations that needed to be investigated, such as the allegations on the notices that Police had charged me with displaying.  Constable Cunningham claimed, when he tried to "arrest" me, that the notices were defamatory.

Cunningham was clearly acting corruptly, like Constable Steve Wakefield, and the other incompetent and corrupt police officers in the Wairarapa.  Like the illegal trespass notice served by Wakefield to prevent me attending the meeting at which corrupt Carterton District Council employee and former corrupt Electoral Officer - who stole $400 from the poor while acting in that position, after stealing all our community resources at the former Community Centre with her other mates on the Council - changed the Constitution of the Community Centre to ensure indemnity and limitation of liability for Hallam and her mates over the corruption and gross misfeasance they had practised at the CCC, which Beyer the Liar had to resign from parliament for 'her' (yeah, right) role in covering up.

Beyer the Liar perverted the course of justice by writing letters repeatedly denying that there was any wrongdoing at the former Carterton Community Centre.  Beyer knew perfectly well that there was, and that it was out of control and the committee was corrupt and incompetent.

Ken Daniels' letters refer to the fact that "I must confess that I haven't given sufficient attention to some of the matters that kate Raue has raised with me in the past mainly I suspect because the matters appeared to be far too complex and involved and I tended not to see any relevance in some of the complaints that she was making." (Ken Daniels letter to The Area Commander NZ Police, dated 28 August 2004, on this site, will locate it and link to it shortly for those with a short attention span).

Ken Daniels' letter goes on:  "On a recent visit to me however and after spending some time looking at documentary evidence that she showed me, I largely changed my view and believe that there genuinely are matters of concern that do need to be investigated.  I have not got to the bottom of all the matters Kate Raue complains about but there is one instance that does seem to suggest that there has been fraud at the Carterton Community Centre which has diverted funds designed for one purpose deliberately to another."

The letter refers to the personal grievance payment which was made in direct contradiction to the legal advice given to the committee chairman Tony Feinson (who assaulted me in the office and broke two of my teeth, Constable Wakefield let him off with Diversion, the police prosecutor lied to the Court, telling them that (1) ACC would pay for my injuries (they didn't) (2) Feinson had written a letter of apology (he had not) (3) I had been given an opportunity to be heard by the Court (police changed the date of the hearing and didn't tell me).

The letter goes on "There is no doubt whatsoever that there was a fraudulent use of the monies received from the Tindall Foundation."  "I believe that the affairs of the Carterton Community Centre are in disarray.  There is currently an application before the High Court to have them wound up because of insufficient numbers.  There are other complaints as well about the way in which members of the public including members [of the Incorporated Society] were excluded from meetings etc.  This letter does not purport to address all those issues but I am deeply concerned after having seen the information supplied to me by Kate Raue that monies received for one purpose be used for an incorrect purpose.

I have been advised that a similar improper payment may have been made in respect of the account that was run for the disadvantaged members of the community.  This apparently exists under the copy of the account also enclosed which is headed up VOSP 2000-2001.  You will see also that there is a "miscellaneous" payment of $1,000 made in September of 2000 following receipt of a substantial amount from WINZ funding.  It is understood that this also was a payment to an individual who claimed to have a personal grievance."

"I believe there are suffficient genuine concerns raised here to warrant some investigation.   These are community funds which were largely received from charitable donations which appear to have been sipnoned off improperl.  I should add that according to Kate Raue there was possible legal advice given to the people running the Carterton Community Centre that they should not make personal grievance payments in the way that they did.  This is another matter that may need to be looked into because it would make the payments even less appropriate if they were done contrary to legal advice.

I appreciate that earlier complaints may have been thought to be ill founded or frivolous or for whatever reason were not properly investigated but I believe that there actually does exist hard evidence to suggest that a reopening of the investigation should be made with urgency.  As I have said the Community Centre and its funds are currently subject to a high Court Application.

If it is more convenient for you to do so I would be happy to act as a go between between yourselves and Kate Raue so that I can request further details from her.  Are you able to assist with want I believe is now a genuine complaint?

This letter was completely ignored by police, who had the cheek to write this rubbish to me:

The last paragraph on the first page of this letter says it all:  It's clear that I am being harassed by Constable Cunningham, and other corrupt members of the police.  This letter was supposed to be an apology for not turning up for the Billsticking hearing.  Area Commander Inspector J F Johnston has got the utter cheek to say that it's alright for Constable Cunningham to harass me, and for the police to proceed with a prosecution on which there was no evidence whatsoever that a crime had been committed, because he "was following the directions of his superiors."  - What???  Sack his superiors then!

In 2007 lawyer Michael Appleby wrote a scathing letter to the Police Complaints Authority, which has totally ignored most of our complaints - I intend taking the IPCA to Court regarding that matter - there has NEVER been any investigation WHATSOEVER into my allegations regarding the FRAUD and THEFT, assaults, etc, at the former Carterton Community Centre - which resulted in Georgina Beyer resigning from parliament when we confronted the Clerk of the House with the EVIDENCE of Beyer's corruption and lies.

Like Constable Laura Rhymer, who didn't turn up to Court on the 8th December 2009, because she stupidly followed the instructions of her superiors and made up a pack of lies about her interviews with Aaron Brook, who came and told me that he and his cousin had seen Michael Murphy in the same place at the same time as I had reported to police that he had earlier burgled my home to retrieve a computer disc containing evidence of an attack by him on me in my home on 11th February 2009, which Murphy and Cunningham are trying to pretend didn't happen.

Constable Rhymer applied for annual leave about two working days before the hearing of the charges of Perverting the Course of Justice and Escaping from Custody set down to be heard in Masterton District Court on 8th December 2009.  

Police did this because they found out that the charges were to be heard by Judge M J Behrens QC, who knows perfectly well that the local Police are not to be trusted.  Police are hoping to get a more corrupt Judge next time, like Judge Susan Thomas, who took the word of Larry Manson, with all his recent convictions for dishonesty (68 convictions apparently, Mr Manson works for the local "news"paper, the wairarapa Times-Age, where the ability to make up a story is considered a great asset to your employment prospects).

Or The Judge who heard the corruptly laid charges based on the perjurous evidence of local prostitute Rachel Betteridge who lied on oath, claiming that I had sent her offensive text messages - over 60 of them.  I never sent her a single one.  

Evidence was produced in Court that Betteridge's claims that she didn't send me any messages was an utter lie, because the phone showed no such messages from me to her, but showed instead that Betteridge and her husband Jason had sent me extremely threatening and offensive messages saying "You need a bullet" and "Watch your back" among other things.  Statements from two Justices of the Peace confirm it, but police refuse to charge them!

 

Financial Reports, Community Gardens: Beyer resigned for covering this up.

These are the financial reports of the Carterton Community Gardens.  It can be seen that there was the April Fool audit in April, then in May there was a payment of $6000 cash from this account, which lawyer Ken Daniels relates to the grant from the Tindall Foundation.  Then note that over $5000 of income is accounted for as "Miscellaneous", in June, August and September  these were the payments from the accounts of the other groups referred to in the documents below.

The Minutes of the Carterton Community Centre show that money was stolen from several bank accounts, several different organisations which held no liability for the personal grievance whatsoever.  That's fraud.  There is further information about these transactions on these sites and it is indisputable evidence of fraud, incompetence and corruption.  Georgina Beyer was forced to resign from parliament for her part in it.

Neither of these matters went anywhere near the Employment Tribunal, the committee just decided to pay them, after holding secret meetings.  Tony Feinson, Chairperson, punched me in the face in the office of the Carterton Community Centre and he and a small group of people changed the locks and took over the Centre illegally.  At a public meeting on 18th April 2001, on this site, a motion was passed that the affairs of the Centre were to be audited.  The group refused to appoint an auditor or to forward the information to the auditor mentioned in the minutes of one of their meetings, R G Thompson.

And all this is what Georgina Beyer corruptly tried to cover up.  Beyer had to resign from parliament in disgrace and has never been able to get a job since - or hold one down for longer than six weeks or something (in the case of the recent stint at Michael Hill).
