"We have maintained a silence closely resembling stupidity" - Neil Roberts

Until we have legislation adopted into law to ensure fiduciary accountability and transparency in public affairs we will continue to have human rights breached because the existing crown immunity and lack of any independent oversight invites corruption to flourish.

Larry Manson's failed $25,000 concert:

Local newspapers ran full page ads recently for the "Quake Rattle and Roll" concert to raise money for the Christchurch quake victims.  The concert was held in the Masterton Town Hall.  Manson's been getting funding for years from the Masterton District Council for his little schemes, and they are all abject failures, as this one was.

I'm reliably informed that Manson received $25,000 funding to organise the concert, and am awaiting confirmation of this.

Less than 50 people came through the door all day.  The bands were all Manson's friends, the catering was done by Manson's wife, Catie Lou Manson, and she pocketed her share of the loot for doing so.

The concert was a sad little failure.  Nobody likes Larry Manson and everyone is sick of him and his little schemes to line his pockets, which is why nobody went.

Manson has 68 recent convictions for dishonesty.  The Court evidence of this will be posted shortly.
